Pubcrawl 2010!

This year's pubcrawl (as every year) was very fun! The costume theme was "Wigs 'n Beards". Molly, Josh, Lindsey and I all put together some fantastic costumes. The best was Molly's costume displaying Bonk wearing a beard and a wig. It was Lindsey's idea and I drew the picture of Bonk right on her belly using an eyeliner pencil. I went as "Starburns" from the NBC TV show Community. Yoder went as Lenin and Lindsey went as punk-rock-leprechaun (I guess?)

We started the crawl at 6ish and were home in bed by midnight. A very fun night. Enjoy the photos!

The Mural is done!

Woah... finally! This thing took a long time, but we finally decided that we were going to hammer it out and get it done.

It's the last few pictures in the album. Enjoy!

Valentine's Day 2010

We enjoyed a nice, quiet Valentine's Day weekend. Lindsey, Josh Y, Ellie, Molly and I all went camping in a cabin at Champoeg State park (pronounced Shampooie). Molly and I wanted to get a feel for what it would be like to have a little one waking us up in the wee hours of the morning to be fed. It wasn't as bad as I expected, but I think that Josh and Lindsey kind of have it down to a science at this point. Of course, I'm not the one who had to stay awake to feed the baby, either!

The next day Molly made a nice meal with the cherries that she had left over from last summer. It was fantastic. Additionally we watched a Riff Track of "The Room", possibly the worst movie I've ever seen (or a close second to "New Year's Evil").

Anyway, here are a couple of pictures of the dinner:

Nice little hike this weekend

Nick with Portland Personal Training (and weight loss) organized a nice little hike on Sunday. The weather has been cooperating a little bit more, lately, which helps tremendously. We visited Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks in the United States.

It ended up being a tad bit muddy, but the hike was somewhat leisurely and it was great to get out of the house. Molly is pretty pregnant right now, but Nick knew to keep the hike at a pace that was consistent with her abilities. Of course he made me run part of it to get my heart rate up.

We're looking forward to many more. He took some pictures, and I hope that he'll post them soon.
